3.1 Proposals, blocks, and attestations

Introduction

Proposals, blocks, and attestations are the mechanisms for decentralization within the Ethereum network. Although each serves distinctly different functions within Ethereum, all three mechanisms contribute to economically efficient, effective, and sustainable outcomes. Proposals, blocks, and attestations leave the network open to enhanced security and collaboration.
